Pastors
Murungi Igweta
Pastor Murungi Igweta was born in Miathene, Meru County. The Lord opened his heart to see the gravity and depravity of his sins, and to flee to Christ and, by faith, receive God’s rich saving grace in the year 2001. The call to the ministry came almost immediately, with a strong desire to reach the least reached communities with the gospel. In 2003, he married Charity and over the years the Lord has blessed them with three children. He has served as a pastor of Trinity Baptist Church since 2010.
Murungi strongly desires that God would be glorified through His church, by which His manifold wisdom and grace are revealed to the world, that Christ is forever exalted by the saints through the Spirit. He can be reached through murungi@hotmail.com
Eric Abwao
Eric grew up as the eldest of eight siblings in a family where they enjoyed the privilege of parents who influenced them for Christ. It was around his 19th birthday that the Lord opened his eyes to his dire need for the saving mercies found only in the person and work of Jesus Christ. He was at that time re-born as a child of God who today continues to know forgiveness of and victory over sins, and peace with God in Christ alone. In college, while studying Commerce, the Lord began opening doors of opportunity for Eric to serve His people in the church. He was set apart to be a pastor at Trinity Baptist Church, Nairobi in November 2014.
Together with his wife, Jedidah, they are blessed with four children – Mich, Jamor, Wendo and Kwe. Eric is presently a student of divinity at Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary. He can be reached through ericabwao@yahoo.com
