Murungi Igweta spent much of April in Miathene where he went with his family for the funeral of the father of John Muketha, one of the founding members of TBCN and a long-serving deacon.  He had the opportunity to serve the church in Miathene by preaching the three Sundays as well preaching in the various open-air evangelistic meetings to strengthen the church planting efforts in Meru Town with Eric Kahure as well as the church plant in Muthara with Joshua Kairithia.
