Kenya: We are commanded to pray for those who are in authority so
that we may live peaceful lives. We continue to pray for God to preserve and grant
endurance to His people especially with the recent increase in fuel prices. The 2026
Finance Bill which proposes further increase in taxes and the presidential sanction
of the construction of an Ebola quarantine center have irritated the people more.
Kenyans seem to be on a tipping point. E.g. the protests on 1st June in Nanyuki (a
military town) led to two people being shot dead. May the Lord give us peace.
