Kenya: Political temperatures continue to rise in the country as the
opposition seeks unity to have one presidential candidate. Disruption of peace and
uncertainty, with the danger of spiritual compromise, are of national concern. We
pray that Christians would not fall into the temptation to find hope in a ‘political
Messiah’ effectively turning from the true hope in Christ. Pray that the church
members of TBC will participate in politics with the right thinking that Jesus remains
our only and true hope in this dark world of sin.
